Glyphosate, 2,4-D and similar herbicides can cause severe GI signs and, in some cases, neurological damage.
Dogs walking on freshly treated lawns or chewing treated plants are at risk.
Glyphosate-based herbicides cause GI irritation and, in concentrated form, mucosal burns. 2,4-D and related phenoxy herbicides can cause muscle stiffness, ataxia and bladder cancer with chronic exposure. Paraquat is particularly devastating, causing irreversible lung fibrosis.

Keep dogs off treated lawns for at least 48 hours after application (longer in damp weather). Identify the active ingredient if ingestion occurs.
