Detergent pods are highly concentrated and can cause severe chemical burns and breathing difficulty.
The water-soluble film bursts in the mouth and the dog often inhales detergent into the lungs.
Pods contain concentrated cationic and anionic surfactants. When the membrane bursts, detergent is forcefully released into the mouth — often with aspiration into the airways. This causes chemical burns to mucous membranes and life-threatening aspiration pneumonia. CNS depression is also common.

Any ingestion warrants immediate veterinary evaluation; aspiration risk makes home induction of vomiting dangerous.
Contacte de inmediato con su veterinario o con una línea de emergencia de intoxicaciones para animales. No provoque el vómito a menos que se lo indique un veterinario.
