The Science
Blueberries are one of the most nutrient-dense fruits, packed with antioxidants (anthocyanins), vitamins C and K, and dietary fiber. Studies in dogs have shown that blueberry supplementation can improve markers of oxidative stress. Their small size also makes them convenient training treats. Frozen blueberries are safe and many dogs enjoy the crunchy texture.

Serving Guide
A handful of blueberries (10-20 berries) is a safe serving for a medium-sized dog. They can be given daily as part of a balanced diet. No toxic dose exists for blueberries — the only concern with excessive amounts is mild GI upset due to fiber.
